We were at home to Finuge in round six and this game was an even contest up to the final whistle, with Finuge coming away with a one point win at the end. The first half was point for point with Finuge going in at the break two points in front our scores coming from Alan O'Donoghue (3)and Niall Sheehy (3) half time score John Mitchels 0-6 Finuge 0-8. The second half was much the same and the sides were level 10 points each midway through the half. Finuge went a further three points in front and with us playing some good football pulled it back to a one point game our scorers in this half were Niall Sheehy (4) and one each from Jamie Moriarty and Sean Moloney. Finuge showing why they are on top of the table held out to win by a single point. Final score John Mitchels 0-12 Finuge 0-13. The team played with great heart and was unlucky to loose by just a point to the div leaders.
