County League Final
John Mitchels 3-18
Austin Stacks 0-8
We had a comprehensive win over Austin Stacks in the Co. League final last Sunday evening out in Ballymac. We started this game with intent from the throw in and it never looked any other way than a John Mitchels win. Points from man of the match Darragh O'Neill(5) Sean Moloney (1) Adam Leahy(1) Jared O'Sullivan(1) and Neill Sheehy (2) to Stacks(5) had us five points in front at half time.
The second half was one way traffic and three fantastic goals Neill Sheehy(2) and Michael Wrenn (1) we had the Cat in the sack. We added on seven more points Darragh O'Neill(1)Sean Moloney(1)Jared O'Sullivan(1)Neill Sheehy(1)Michael Wrenn(1)James Duggan(1) and Cian Casey(1). Stacks scored three points in the second half to leave the full time score John Mitchels 3-18 Austin Stacks 0-8. This team has now won in the last four years two back to back under 16 Co. Leagues and back to back Minor Co. Leagues, so things are looking good for John Mitchels in the future.

C/Gregory 0-14
We picked up another two points last Sunday away to C/Gregory with a three point win in round
four of the Co. League. We were first to score a point from a free by Jamie Moriarty after six minutes. Alan O' Donoghue added on two more this was followed with a well taken goal from Darren O'Brien. Darren had to go off shortly after this with an injury and was replaced by Wayne Conway. C/Gregory scored their first point in the twelfth minute. We had further points from Lawerence Bastible, Wayne Conway and Jamie Moriarty. It was point for point for the remainder of the half. Half time score John Mitchels 1-6 C/Gregory 0-7.
We started the second half with two early points from Jamie Moriarty. C/Gregory then hit a purple patch and picked off some good scores to leave them three points in front with six minutes remaining. We suddenly picked up the tempo and Alan O'Donoghue who had already giving a man of the match performance was a real thorn in the sides of the C/Gregory defence. His darting runs were drawing frees and we tagged on five points Jamie Moriaty three Alan O'Donoghue and Wayne Conway one each left the full time score John Mitchels 1-13 C/Gregory 0-14.
