JOHN MITCHELS NOTES
FIXTURES FOR THE COMING WEEK
Wednesday 6th June; U-12 ladies home to Moyvane at 7.00 pm,

SENIORS CO. LEAGUE
The team had a good win against Beaufort on Saturday last; the first half was evenly matched with both teams trying very hard, Mitchels had 2 points from Jamie Moriarty, a well taken goal from Bryan Costello and a point from Alan O'Donoghue, half time score John Mitchels 1-03, Beaufort 0-06, Beaufort come out in the second half and took charge of the match and outscored Mitchels by 1-03 to 2 pts. in the first 20 minutes, with 10 minutes left on the clock Mitchels made some positional switches, they also introduced fresh legs, this resulted in Mitchels scoring 2-04 without reply (Sean Moloney 1-1, Wayne Conway 0-1, Jake Moran 0-1, John Higgins 0-1, Jamie Moriarty 1-0) this gave Mitchels a 6 point lead, Beaufort tried hard for the final two minutes and were rewarded with a point for their efforts. The final score was John Mitchels 3-09; Beaufort 1-10.

The girls are at home to Moyvane in the first round in phase 2 of the county league on Wednesday the 06th of June at 7pm. A list of the fixtures are below but these are subject to change due to school tours etc around this time of year.Training continues every Wednesday Champers from 5.30pm - 6.30pm - this is subject to us having a mid-week game. We will be sending out TEAMERS to everyone that we have on our list but if you know any girls that want to play U12 football this year they are more than welcome. All you have to do is to come down to a training session & make yourself known to any of the mentors or club officials. The mentors involved looking after the girls this year are Rory Kilgallen, Cathy Carmody,Mike O Shea & Dan O' Connor.

Training was cancelled on Sunday last due to the bad weather. On Saturday next we travel to Killarney to play against Dr. Crokes, all players are to meet at the club grounds at 10.00 am. The bus will leave at 10.10 am and return at approx. 12.45 pm. There will be NO TRAINING on Sunday morning due to Kerry v Cork Match.

MEMBERSHIP 2012
A note to remind you all that membership and patron fees are overdue for 2012. Membership is €40 for Adult and €20 for Juveniles, Senior Citizens and un-waged, and Patrons is €150. Any person who has forgotten to pay their membership, please pay ASAP as you will NOT be entitled to match tickets for any of the Kerry Championship games and will NOT be entitled to vote at convention. Membership and patrons can be given to our registrar Claire Connelly on any Club officer.
BINGO
Bingo continues at the clubhouse on both Wednesday and Friday nights commencing at 8.30pm sharp. Anyone who wishes to volunteer for the bingo roster, please contact Hugh or Eleanor. This is an important fundraiser for our juvenile activities and any assistance which parents/members can give would be greatly appreciated.
