JOHN MITCHELS NOTES
INTERMEDIATE CHAMPIONSHIP
John Mitchels 0-4
S. Marys 1-15
This game started very slowly with both teams missing easy scores fron frees and play. St. Marys were the first to score a pointed free from Brian Sheehan. Jamie Moriarty had the sides level two minutes later and this point would be John Mitchels only score from play in the whole match. St Marys full forward Daniel Daly scored a goal with ten minutes left in the half and this finished the game as a contest. St. Marys added three more points one each from Aiden Walsh. Sean Cournana and Brian Sheehan. We scored two from frees Jamie Moriarty and Niell Sheehy to leave the half time score St. Marys 1-4 John Mitchels 0-3.
The second half turned out to one way traffic with St. Marys adding 11 points to their score and We could only manage a single point in this half. St. Marys scorers Brian Shehan 4, Sean Cournane 2, Daniel Dalt 2, Aiedan Walsh 1, Kieran o'Driscoll 1 and Conor Quirk 1. John Mitchels only score came from Jamie Moriarty.

We are at home to St. Marys on Sunday May 5th at 2-30pm.
SENIOR LEAGUE FIXTURES Div 2

Listowel 0-13
We played our back game v Listowel last Saturday evening and after a hard fought game, the hosts came out with a three point win. We were first to score with a point from Alan O'Donoghue after only 30 seconds, Noel Kennelly equalised minutes later and it was point for point up to the final ten minutes with Listowel finishing the stronger they went in at the break 8 points to 6 points in front.
We again started the second half with the first score, but Listowel proved to be the better in the scoring stakes throughout this half and came out winners at the end Listowel 0-13 John Mitchels 0-10. We play St Marys at home next Sunday may 5th in the second round of the Intermediated Championship at 2.30pm.
First team named play at home.
